Concept and rebrand of a leading wholesale company.

Introduction

The Sligro rebranding project aimed to transform the image and identity of Sligro, a leading wholesale company, in order to enhance its market position, attract new customers, and strengthen brand loyalty among existing ones.

Project

The project began with a comprehensive assessment of Sligro's current brand perception, market positioning, and customer preferences. This research provided valuable insights to inform the rebranding strategy. 
Based on the research findings, a clear brand strategy was developed, outlining the desired brand personality, positioning, and key messaging. This strategy served as a guiding framework throughout the rebranding process.

Challenge

There were a few challenges:
Modernize the brand: Sligro aimed to refresh its brand image to align with current market trends and appeal to a broader customer base, including younger demographics. 
Differentiate from competitors: The rebranding sought to establish a unique identity for Sligro, setting it apart from competitors in the wholesale industry and positioning it as a leader in quality, innovation, and customer service. 
Increase brand recognition: The project aimed to create a distinctive visual identity that would enhance brand recall and recognition, making Sligro instantly recognizable across various touchpoints.

My Role

For the whole project, I took part as a Visual Designer. My role was to come up with concepts derived from the analysis of the existing brand. Once these were accepted, I started to support the UI Designers in the production of the assets, under the supervision of the Project Manager, who was organizing the work with an Agile methodology.
